(no subject)
Mwah.
SO. Yesterday. Went down to Austin and I slept the entire way. Go me! ... er not. And we grabbed Grandpa and took him out to dinner. He wanted to go to the Holiday Inn buffet, which was actually kind of... not that great. XD And actually I got a message from mom this morning saything that he's in the hospital for bowel blockage or something... x_x;;;;; But yeah. I don't think it's too serious.
Helped grandma set up our old computer. God. I have given up on that woman trying to figure out technology. I mean, I know she can do it if she tried, but she doesn't want to try. Arhg.
Then we went home and drove around aimlessly trying to find Cameron's house. So we pull up in front of this house with this orange and black thing hanging outside and I'm like, "I don't think this is it, Mom" but then I see Cameron come around and I'm like, "OH WAIT yes it is!" And just as I got out Emma called me back with his address because I had called her earlier. XD Yes. Party was fun. Nathaniel is very cool. :3
When I got home I decided that I'd bite the bullet and do another still life. I mean, the one I had done previously was a continuation of my ten-minute one, and mom and I decided that doing another one wouldn't make me look as lazy. So I spent literally an hour trying to arrage something. It was most exhausting. Finally I just set one up and said "screw it". I tried to use the subtraction method as I drew, and it actually came out looking pretty nice. :D The whole thing looks pretty good, actually, albiet a bit simple. ^^ I'll put it up on my deviantART account eventually. ^^
And I don't hate charcoal as much anymore. :3
