A JOB?!?!? o_O whoaomg
Whoo.
Man, today I was like, "nuuu, I dun wanna do anything today" but Mom dragged me off to Emella (that new store I was talking about, the one that showcases local artists). I was so nervous, I knew she wasn't going to like my stuff.
So we get there. It's an awesome store, truly. And my hopes become steadily more dashed because none of the stuff I do looks like it belongs in this kind of store... but I show her (Stella, storeowner - she is AWESOME) my book... and she tells me that her son, who's out of college, does anime stuff too, and she said that I would definitely have a place in her store and she'd be looking forward to showcasing/selling some of my stuff!!!!!!!! The sales thing is 60/40, so 60% of the profits are for the artist, which is really good because even deviantART only does 50% of all sales to the artists. ^-^ So I told her that I'd probably start doing stuff after November (after Cinderella). Just in time for the holidays, too, so lotsa happy business around then. :3
YAY, I MIGHT GET A JOB THING O_O I'm so excited.
So yeah, and then as we were walking back we see this box of free stuff from someone's house, and there were like, 5 boxes of matte samples (and Stella recommended to me that I matte some of my stuff), so I'm like, "omgwtf it's FATE o_O"... unfortunately I discovered that they were only corner pieces, so that's kinda saddening, but still, that was kinda creepy. XD
Then we went to Mr. Movies in Highland to rent a movie, but found out they're going out of business! O_O NOOOO, god, all my movie-viewing HISTORY came from there! So yeah, I was sad and stuff. ;_;
So yeah. I must CG things now. Toodly-doo! :D
