Ok, so this guy named TeteoObisidas won my kiriban. Fine. I go to his page, he has no artwork. So I'm a little leery.
He sends me his kiriban request today. Here it is (links removed):
"Heya, it's me again.
Now that I have a bit of free time, I'd like to take that time to lay out what I'd like for the kiriban picture.
I'd like to update my foxboy character, Tesh Fox, with a new outfit, since the last time I won a kiriban in 2002 and I had him drawn was the last time he's had any new art. Here he is: [link]
Here's a heads-up: He does have a tail. Some people seem to not recognize it.
As for the actual outfit, I'd love to suit him up in one of those snazzy kung-fu outfits. Oh look, here comes a picture of one now, in the exact colors I'd like: [link]
Don't forget the typical slippers that would match the outfit. If a pic of them is need, here ya go. [link]
Gee, posting a reference picture of slippers feels silly. Anyways, for pose and expression, I feel like paying a little homage, so use this: [link]
You might notice the character in that reference picture is arched back a little, with his chest puffed out. That looks really weird and not what I'm going for, so have Tesh upright and not leaning back like that.
And the background? BOOSH. : [link]
The scale between Tesh and the background should be that Tesh fits within the main light-blue stripe, not touching the darker-blue lines.
And that should complete the plans for the picture. Hopefully that's not too much. The instructions themselves aren't that complex; they just seem that way because of all the f'ing words. Jeez, who knew there were so many words?
I can't wait for the finished product. Once again, congrats on the 8,100+ pageviews, and here's to many more.
