The Sirily one-shot I mentioned in my last post is now up! ^_^
Ghost (mild PG-13)
It turned out nicely, another of those creepy fragmented death stories I tend to write. There has to be something Freud would get out of that, haha.
Over at SAYS, people have already been preparing for NaNoWriMo in November, and I've decided to try it out for the first time. Although I know I won't be able to get all 50,000 words done in that month, starting this novel I have an idea for would be great. It's been bothering me for a while, and I know that the most bothersome ideas must be written down if I'm to have any peace in life. :P
I even made a book cover! That's how far this madness has gone! [

The story is a mystery/suspense/crime sort of thing - it's an idea I've been playing around with for at least two years, but it's kept changing a lot until now. The two main characters are two of my OCs - Grimm and Vivien - only in different roles (of course!). Vivien will be the police inspector, while Grimm will be a medical examiner. I've noticed that many of the crime novels/tv shows these days have a male inspector and a female ME, so I just changed it around to avoid the cliche. ;)
The story begins with the discovery of a dead girl in an isolated field. DI Vivien Winter is called to the scene and has to fetch Dr. Grimm because he's turned off his mobile again (they will be a bit like Grimm/Minerva in my fanfics). When they do arrive, Vivien recognizes the way that the girl has been murdered and laid out upon the ground. And from there, starts the chase for a long-time serial killer - all murdering girls of the same age and appearance.
I won't give away the more dramatic stuff yet, since I'm not sure if it's too cliched or not. There's still plenty of time until November anyways. ;)
It will be exciting to get back into OF for a bit. I've written way too much fanfiction lately, and need to get myself poking into magazines and stuff to send in a short piece.
