Sacrifices and whippings aren't exactly romantic, it has to be said. Unless you're into that...pervy sort of stuff.

It was more about fertility, I believe. Not that those things could never be romantic... I suppose it would depend on what was getting sacrificed and who was doing the whipping.

Well we wouldn't want to encourage fertility, would we? That's what the tons of condoms are meant to prevent.
