Another new vid. McKay/Weir - friendship, or more depending on what you want to see. I've been told by those who got the sneak preview that any shippy overtones are subtle and that it could easily be taken as a friendship vid

Love that song. Someone else actually did a general team SG1 vid to it, too.

And I *like* the shippy overtones ;)

It's always great to see vids where the images follow the song. There are a *lot* of what my brain calls 'visual salad' videos out, where its just a lot of random scenes strung together to music.

Yeah, I'm not so fond of salad vids. I like to choose songs that tell a story and try and match the right clips so it's a visual and lyrical narrative. :) It appeals to me as a viewer and I'd much rather make something like that as a vidder. Not point making something you wouldn't want to watch yourself.

And the not calling it a purely ship vid is that it can be seen either way and I don't want to put off the friendshippers. :)

Hadn't seen the SG-1 vid, must look for it sometime.

Well, I found the link to the site. I forgot that the vidder redid her site recently, and took down some of her old vids. She says she'll put them back up upon request. Anyway, her site is http://www.otherplaces.net She's still got some good vids up (Devil Inside and Heaven Can Wait are both excellent Daniel vids.)

Her stuff was some of the first fan vidding I ever encountered... After that I kinda binged on the stuff ;) One can never have too many Stargate vids lurking on one's hard drive...
