Great Connor voice! And sooooo awful, knowing what The Bitch Queen said about him.

The little reference to his mum was incredibly sad as well.

This is a great little piece! So funny about the jelly, and Abby's coaching and only women who ask him for directions listening to him LOL. Bless. A nice look at what was the craziest thing ever - going out covered in goo...

Nice piece. Very simple and all the more effective for that. Loved the attack of nerves in the middle! Very realistic. Your last sentence could perhaps pack a little more punch - really to hammer home Connor's ambiguous feelings about the afternoon. It might work to split the last sentence or two into a smaller, more staccato couple of lines.
