Woooo Stargate video awards has opened voting now! We have until December 4th to vote here - i'm definitely going to have to do some rewatching of vids one day soon.

♥. Step One: Make a post (Public, Friendslocked, Filtered... Whatever you're comfortable with!) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes; the wishes can be anything at all, from simple & fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me",) to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD"), to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV."). The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want. If you wish for real life things (Not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (Or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (It'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.
♥. Step Two: Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part: If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free, do it...
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not; it's your call! There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... Wish & it might come true. Give & you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special...

1// I'd really love some icons/graphics for the scifi show Seven Days - think its fandom days were well before LJ and it's rather dead, not sure where any screencaps would be either, but I would love some Frank, Olga or Frank/Olga icons or the like. :)
2// If anyone could get me even one season of Seven Days I would hug you so tight. My own attempts to get it always fall through, and there's a whole 2 and a half out of 3 seasons of it I've never seen and want to!
3// I'd like to spend time near Christmas, after term and deadlines have gone by, with lots of friends having fun - watching shows, films, partying, just chatting or doing creative and cake making things. I want to enjoy the having of friends and freedom to just do stuff. :)
4// There's a pattern here, but I'd like some fic - for Seven Days. I don't know many people who've heard of it let alone seen it and are willing to write fic, but if anyone would, even a few drabbles or something... :D
5// I'd like to feel pretty, right now I feel somehow just not. I'd like to feel girly, cool or sexy kind of pretty... I don't know how that would be achieved exactly, but i never realy have the time to spend on myself. :s
6// If anyone could take some nice pictures of me, and me and Henry that would be cool. I'd like to be able to give one of both of us to my Godmother (she requested it) and generally I never have any good pictures of myself, nor any of me with Henry that aren't just awkward poses because of being taken as is and just turning out that way. I don't really have enough good photos and I would like a remedy for it.
7// Be unexpectedly nice to someone, in a way they'll appreciate (and not for your own self-gain). I'm not asking this to apply to me, though I won't complain if it does, just that you do this for someone and make them feel that bit better - I ask it because I can recall how nice a surprise it is and I'd hope it would happen to people more.
8// Some one write me SGA Simpson/Kavanagh fic. I'm probably writing a fair bit myself as part of my fanfic100 challenges but I'd like there to be more, some stuff I can read and not know whats going to happen because I didn't write it. :) Failing that Kavanagh fic with any ship or where he's not merely a jerk...
9// Hershey's kisses, I'd love some and they are a) hard to find in the UK, b) 3 x the price to import and c) the ones I've occasionally seen in Norwich are titchy packets that run out of stock quickly. So if anyone can fulfil this then mega squggles. Did I invent a word there? Sorry, iI'm excited at the thought of Hershey's kisses - I have fond memories odf them as my Dad always brought some back when he used visit the USA on business. He no longer does but I really liked the guilty pleasure of eating them when we only had a bag or two, they were a luxury and they were so good for chocolate chip cookies. :D Yum!
10// Teach me something I'd like to be taught. I won't name everything I'd like to be taught, but you can always offer something and see. Though this too must wait until after uni term ends, which I believe is Dec 7th? Anyway, there are many languages or skills I lack and any effort to further my skill or knowledge would be appreciate. I like learning new things generally.
