The Glam & Unglam
Needless to say. the day was filled with all the rushing,spending,eating,running,gossiping and not to forget the top 2 elements: tears and/of joy.
Pre-event preparation includes:
1. Shopping endlessly for the 'right' dress
2. Altering the dress to the 'right' size
3. Get the 'right' accessories which includes shoes, necklace, earrings, clutch
Exciting events on the day itself includes:
1. Screwed up ru-hua-lookalike makeup and curry puff super 80's hairstyle which cost a total of 30 bucks. i guess i will never learn the lesson. cheap doesn't mean good. anyway. it screwed up so badly that i was bombarded by laugher after i reached my friend's house
2. immediately washed off the ru-hua's makeup and redo it. my 30 bucks worth makeup stayed on my face for a mere 30 mins. bloody exp. 1 buck per minute. hahah
3. took 1.5 hour and 3 pairs of hand to get the 'right' makeup
4. 20 minutes cab ride costing 15 bucks: TPY to Fullerton
super lost after arriving. many unfamiliar faces. either becoz the function room was too dark or they looked too polished. seriously, everyone was looking their best that day. very polished.
as the theme was related to casino, u see 'bunny' alike costume and shiny bling bling blazer. tall hat. gambling chips around. haha. entertaining indeed
the food was filling yet not satisfying thou. and i saw someone with the same dress as me. expected. spppooot on.
Post-event includes:
1. Clubbing at clark quaye. kana cheated. so expensive. noisy. hahha. but i have to admit it was fun seeing the girls dance and being 'forced' to dance. *u know who u are* anyway. it was LOUSY becoz the drinks we paid for doesn't include beer. hahaha. i'm not a drinker. but i do prefer beer to mixer
2. Camping at zhu's place: supper, laugher, no make up -super-unglam faces, late night walking. it reminds me of those chalet staying secondary school days
walking down the memory lane. i realised that i don't want to go back to the super-far-away campus. but i don't deny that i do miss the camping in lib days, which canteen to eat days, chiong to the canteen during breaks days, late for classes days, can't find the classrooms days, eating non-stop days, gossiping in class days, dozing off class days, presentation days.... many many more. to me, its the people who made up the school days
