Loving You
Chapter 4
Yoochun’s head was spinning so much that he had to open his eyes. He felt fatigued as he could barely lift up his hand to massage his forehead. He was dehydrated and hungry, too. He vowed to never drink this much again.
He immediately stopped massaging his forehead and observed his surroundings. He slowly sat up in the bed and felt a pang in his heart. He recognized the room as one of the suites at the Aria hotel, where he and Junho spent their one-year anniversary making love. Memories of that day and night flashed before him.
His eyes released the tears that had been building up for some time now. They rolled down his cheeks and onto his bare chest. Yoochun gazed downward and realized that he was only wearing his black boxers beneath the blanket.
His sadness was soon replaced by panic. How did he get here in the first place? And where were his clothes? He dried his tear-stained face. From the corner of his eye, he saw a white bandage on his left arm. He observed his arm and panicked even more. What happened to him last night?
“Finally awake, I see,” Junsu said when he walked into the room, scaring the daylights out of Yoochun. He was wearing black dress pants and a white buttoned-up collar shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He took a seat in a creme colored armchair near the left side of the bed.
As soon as his heartbeats returned to normal, Yoochun asked Junsu if he was the one who brought him there.
“My friend helped, too,” he answered as he continued to just stare at Yoochun.
Suddenly feeling conscious of his body, Yoochun pulled the white blanket up to cover his bare chest. “Umm…where are my clothes?”
“They’re being washed. My friend Kim Jaejoong will bring a suit for you to wear to the burial in a while.”
“Oh…, okay,” Yoochun looked down to avoid Junsu’s piercing stare. His fingers played with the bandage on his arm and asked, “Um…why is my arm bandaged up?”
When Yoochun looked up, Junsu’s eyes turned dark. He gulped and scooted back towards the headboard of the bed. The man was frightening him.
Junsu knew memory loss was a side effect of the drug, but, hell, he just couldn’t take it anymore. “Last night, your carelessness nearly caused what my dad had worked for all his life: the Kim name and the reputation of our hotel.”
Yoochun lowered his head again. “I’m sorry,” he said sadly although he didn’t know what he was apologizing for. All he knows was that it was always his fault. He was curse to this family.
“You have no idea how serious the situation is and you’re already apologizing?”
Yoochun nodded, still facing down.
“You were nearly raped last night!” Junsu exploded, all the rage from last night now out in the open. “All because you accepted a drink from a stranger!
The half naked man was shocked beyond words. He was almost raped last night? How could he had been so stupid to accept a drink from a stranger? He was so ashamed of himself. How could he jeopardize the Kim name like that?
“He worked for the Aria, too. Could you imagine the scandal he could have caused had Jaejoong and I have not been there last night?”
Junsu sat on the edge of the bed in front of Yoochun and shook him by the shoulders. “Why do you want to destroy this family so much, huh? Wasn’t it enough that you took hyung away from us?” he asked, full of rage. “Now you’ve gotta come back and destroy us, too? Tell me!”
Yoochun broke into tears once more. He couldn’t face Junsu. The other was getting frustrated with his brother’s widower and stood up from the bed.
“Oh, for chrissake! You’re a man! Stop crying!” he shouted as he kicked the night stand next to the bed. What his brother ever saw in Park Yoochun, he would never know. The man couldn’t even take care of himself and now he was crying. What kind of man cries?
Yoochun threw back the covers and ran to lock himself in the bathroom. He covered his mouth as he continued to sob, sliding down the door to the floor. He brought his knees up to his chest and cried some more.
He didn’t mean to break the family apart. He and Junho just fell in love. Was that so wrong? He didn’t mean to fall prey to that man and almost destroy the Kim name and hotel’s reputation. He was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. He didn’t mean to do any of this!
‘Why…Why couldn’t it had been me who died in that car that night?’ he sobbed. ‘Why did it had to be you, Junnie? Why…?’ he buried his face in the palms of his hands. Why was fate so cruel to him?
After a half hour of crying, he stood up and walked to the sink. His eyes were puffy and red. He looked atrocious. Junsu was right, he thought. He really needed to stop being such a weakling.
But at the moment, he needed to get ready to attend the burial. He turned on the water for a bath and turned it off when it was half full. He took off his boxers, got in the tub, and sat down. He held his breath as he dipped his head beneath the water.
He resurfaced and washed his face with his hands. Then he leaned back against the cold porcelain tub. He was exhausted from all of the crying. He decided to rest his eyes for just a while.

After Yoochun locked himself in the bathroom, Junsu went to dress for the burial. He was struggling to tie his tie. His mother was always the one to tie it for him. Several occasions when he’s not home, he’ll have Jaejoong do it, but that was quite rare as they had busy schedules. If he had to go without a tie, then he would.
The doorbell rang and he let out a sigh of relief. He knew it was Jaejoong, because he was bringing over a suit for Yoochun. Now he could help him with his tie, too.
“Good morning,” Jaejoong greeted him and Junsu invited him in. He handed Junsu a wooden suit hanger with a plastic cover over the suit.
“Thanks, Jaejoong.” He set it on the couch. Then he walked towards the older, scratching the back of his head. “Um…could you…?” he asked, showing his friend his tie.
Jaejoong rolled his eyes. “Aigoo, Junsu-yah,” the older sighed before standing in front of Junsu to fix his tie for him, oblivious to the fact that Junsu was happily admiring his face.
This was one of the few times Junsu could ever get to be this close to the man he secretly loved. He was mesmerized by Jaejoong’s beautiful features: his flawless skin; his cute nose; his big eyes hiding behind a few strands of his dark bangs; but mostly his pink, plump lips.
“When are you going to learn to do this by yourself, huh?” Jaejoong’s voice brought him out of his reverie.
“Did you forget already? I’ve told you each time you’ve asked me,” but he answered anyways. “It’s because I want my future wife to do it for me.” He's fantasized that that person would be Jaejoong someday.
The older let out a puff of air as he had to start over again. Tying Junsu’s tie could be confusing at times since he had to do everything in the opposite direction from the way he tied his own. Junsu never complained though. It just meant he'd get more time to observe Jaejoong up close.
“Okay, then why do you want her to do it for you?”
“So I could do this…” Junsu’s arms encircled Jaejoong’s tiny waist, “while he ties it for me and I can say aloud that I am the luckiest man on Earth.”
He smiled when Jaejoong didn’t pull away but hold back a smile of his own. Junsu wondered what Jaejoong was thinking that could have made him bit back his smile like that.
The older man then looked at Junsu, who still had his arms wrapped around his waist, after he finished the task. A smirk suddenly appeared on his face. The younger man grew nervous.
“You said ‘he’ instead of ‘she’,” Jaejoong stated.
“W-what?” Junsu didn’t understand what his best friend was referring to.
“You said ‘he’ instead of ‘she’,” Jaejoong repeated, looking smug.
Junsu’s arms returned to his side. He turned away from his friend, pretending to adjust the tie. “That’s an honest mistake,” he denied, not wanting Jaejoong to find out the truth just yet.
Jaejoong didn’t buy it though. He had suspected that Junsu could be gay like his twin brother but now wasn’t the time to push further.
“Let’s talk after the burial. I have something to show you anyways.”
Junsu nodded. He was happy the topic will be postponed till another time. He picked up the suit and walked over to the bathroom. He knocked on the door twice.
“Yah, my friend brought over one of his suits for you to wear to the burial.”
No answer came. He knocked once more.
“Hurry up and open the door. We don’t have all day.”
Still, no answer came. He groaned and walked to his desk. He opened one of the drawers and took out the key to the bathroom. He cursed as he unlocked the door.
“Yoochun-sshi?” he called as he stepped inside. His eyes widened when he saw Yoochun submerged under water.
“Yoochun-sshi!”
He ran to the bathtub and immediately pulled him out to lay on the floor so that he could perform CPR. However, he didn’t have to perform CPR, because Yoochun had already opened his eyes.
Jaejoong rushed into the bathroom after he heard Junsu's raised voice. “What happened?!”
Yoochun was in a daze as he looked up at Junsu.
“Yes, what did happened?” Junsu asked, staring back, breathlessly.
Yoochun averted his eyes to the side, embarrassed. “I…um,…fell asleep.” The last part was barely audible but given their proximity, Junsu heard it.
Junsu massaged his temple. His frustration with this man was going through the roof. Didn't he know that it was dangerous to fall asleep during a bath?
“Uh…Junsu?” he heard Jaejoong called him. He turned around and saw his friend offering him a towel and the suit.
It was then that he remembered that Yoochun was still nude. Junsu immediately grabbed the towel and from the periphery of his eyes, he covered Yoochun's body with the towel. He stood up and hanged the suit behind the door of the bathroom.
He cleared his throat. “Right. Hurry up and get dressed.” He and Jaejoong walked out and shut the door behind them.
As soon as they were back in the living room, there was a knock at the door. Junsu went to answer it and found Yunho standing out in the hallway.
“I hope you don’t mind me coming over this early. I wanted to see how Yoochun-sshi was doing,” he explained.
“Not at all,” Junsu said as he stepped aside to let the younger doctor in.
“Good morning, Jaejoong-sshi,” the young doctor greeted when he saw the other. He received a bow and greeting, too.
Yunho noticed something that he had failed to see at the door. “Forgive me for being straightforward, Junsu, but why are you wet?”
Junsu looked down and realized his clothes were wet from pulling Yoochun out of the bathtub. “We had a little accident in the bathroom.”
“Is everyone all right?”
“Yes, everyone is fine,” he answered Yunho and then turned to Jaejoong. “I’ll go change and then we can leave.”
His friend nodded before he walked to his bedroom, leaving the two alone. However, they weren't alone for long as Jaejoong would have liked. Yoochun walked out of the bathroom slowly.
Yunho turned to him and introduced himself. “Hi, I’m Jung Yunho, Junsu's personal physician. I believe you've already met my father, who is the family doctor, when you were still in the hospital. From here on out, I'll be your doctor.” He ushered for Yoochun to sit on the couch. “Could you have a seat here while I check your heart rate?”
Jaejoong watched with envy as the man he secretly loved took care of Yoochun. What he would give to have Yunho pay attention to him like that. He pondered if Yoochun could be a potential rival.
The doctor also checked Yoochun’s eyes. “All right. Everything appears to be normal. Now, I had room service bring up some fluids and food for you to help you get re-energize.”
Yoochun nodded. “Thank you, doctor. That’s very kind of you.” Then he turned to the other man in the room. “I’m sorry. I don’t believe we have met.”
“No, we have not. I’m Kim Jaejoong, Junsu's best friend,” he bowed.
“Oh, thank you, for loaning me one of your suits for the day and for helping Junsu-sshi last night.”
“Don’t mention it.” Jaejoong couldn't find it in him to dislike the younger man after their exchange of words. The man was simply too kind to hate.
Junsu walked out of the bedroom. “Okay, are we ready to go?”
“You two could go ahead. I’m going to make sure Yoochun eats a healthy breakfast first before he goes anywhere.”
“Fine by me,” Junsu said. He was happy to be rid of Yoochun. He wasn’t sure how much more he could take. “Come on, Jaejoong. Let’s go.”
He then grabbed a hold onto his beautiful friend’s hand and dragged him towards the door of his suite. As Jaejoong turned back to say and wave goodbye to the other two men in hotel suite, he caught the sad expression on Yoochun's face. Jaejoong made a mental note to teach Junsu some manners and about treating family with respect.

Chapter 5 A/N: Sorry for the wait. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to go in this direction or in another direction. The other direction might have made the story a little more complicated, so that’s why I’ve picked this one. However, I hope that I didn't disappoint anybody with the way the story is going.
