i've alway preferred slippers to any other type of footwear. they're simple. they're stylish. they're comfortable.
when havaianas first came out and bestest iza (
warped_dreamer) got a pair, i couldn't understand why one would spend so much on rubber tsinelas. but after trying them on myself, i understood why. so before i flew off to cebu for my relocation, bestest and i ran around makati just so i could get a one. i ended up with a pink pair. it was love at first sight.
more than a year after, and just when the havaianas craze has died down, i got another pair. it's the black and silver dragon style. it took me forever to make up my mind but kay was there to push me towards the cash register. i must admit, i love them! they're so androgenous. and besides, it's a his and her pair. i'm getting teddy his own so that he too can experience the comfort that havaianas bring to weary feet.
