priceless
the most successful trips are those that are done spur of the moment. on a whim. spontaneously. thus, here i am at my mom's office in los banos typing this entry.
i had no plans of coming home. i was playing with the thought last week but i was thinking that i could use the money for something else. but i don't know, this morning, i had the sudden urge to just up and go. and that's exactly what i did.
after my shift (8am), i was still asking myself if i should go. i did tks scrubbing, still thinking. i guess the deciding point for me was when george asked me if i was going to dumaguete (i was asking about it earlier this morning). i told him no, i was planning on going home to los banos. and he said, you should, be spontaneous. and the fact that my brother was gonna shoulder a part of my ticket cost. so i said, "skrew this, i'm going home!!!"
with no packed clothes or no idea if i'm going to even get a flight, i took the next cab and went to the airport. the tickets at PAL turned out to be too expensive. i almost lost hope but thanks to cebu pacific and their go fare promo, i was able to get the flight schedule that i wanted for half the price!!
so with my trusty happy bag, keylime(my ipod), and my wallet full of cash, i boarded the plane to manila. nobody knew about my trip, only kuya jerome. so at the airport, i walked straight off the plane and out the gate to see my surprised dad's face!! we then headed to las pinas to get the getz's window's tinted. while that was happening, i went to southmall and bought some stuff (seeing that i wasn't able to pack anything!). at 4pm, we headed home to LB.
we went straight to my mom's office to pick her up and when she saw me, i don't think i registered that it was actually me that she was seeing. then after 10 secs, she started whacking me and asking what i was doing home.

airport terminal fee: P200
lunch for the three of us: P500
the look on my parents face: priceless.
