Taste of Chaos was MADE OF SUPER AWESOME AND MANY KINDS OF WINNNNNNNN! :DDD Bewtween me and Christa, we filled up 4 memory cards. |D 2 2GB ones, 1 512 MB, and one uber small one that I used for just photos...and some of Sam's memory card. So there'll be plently of video. And a few good photos. And tons of crappy ones. ^_^
We weren't very close but I LOVE YOU SEATS. <333 During the Jrock sets I was sad we didn't have floor. But during Atreyu + A7X I'M SO GLAD I WASN'T DOWN THERE. That was a mosh pit now. At any given point at least 2-3 people were crowd surfing, and the security guards were trying to pull people down. SO MANY people who had seats just ran down the seating area and were able to jump the 3 foot gap between seat and barrier, and made it to the floor. XD Tempted to do that during the JRock, but we didn't.
I'm glad where we were, we were around Jrock fans so I didn't feel stupid screaming and jumping while everyone else was sitting being...bored.
Best quote of the night though. When D'espairsRay were on, some woman behind us goes to her friend, "Is he wearing leather pants?" Me and Christa just looked at each other and laughed. XD OF COURSE he was wearing leather pants, duh! That's a stupid question to ask! She gets points for knowing it was a guy, but loses those points again because Hizumi was singing, obviously it's a guy.
So, I love D'espairsRay now, kthx. All I could think while they were on was, "God, I'm really seeing them. I'm really hearing them play." It was...amazing. akdjflajdlfka. I couldn't see them all that well but you know what I mean. This is the first time I think we've had actual seats at a concert since... The Fray. XD But Despas!!! ILU! Sixty Nine was EPIC!!! as expected. ♥ Hizumi's English is really, really good too! I understand almost all of what he said! Tsukasa PWNS the drums. Seriously. He owns them. I couldn't really tell Zero and Karyu apart, because we were far away and >_>; but Christa said Zero was on the right. :D

I know Sixty Nine for absolute certain, because I love that song, and he said, "This is Sixty Nine!" and Christa liked it too. XD After listening to the Mirror album I bought too, I'm sure they played Damned first as well ...then Mirror somewhere in there. XD So the setlist seems right.
Between sets there was indie bands playing on the side stage. The band between Despas and MUCC was saying something about soccer and David Beckam...then I said something about Miyavi, and Loeki said, "David Beckam is like the Miyavi of soccer." XD Ftw.
Next was MUCC, even though the board of lineups outside said Idiot Pilot was after then. So it was bascially like, "...is that MUCC?" and it was. XD Tatsurou was not wearing shoes. I have been pondering that greatly for the past...while. Why was he not wearing shoes? XD (edit: I'm looking at Meera's pictures... were they all not wearing shoes?! I'm pretty sure it looks like Miya wasn't wearing shoes, and maybe Yukke too?!) He was wearing reallllllly baggy clothes too. But it looked cool when he danced, he sorta looked like a rag doll... in a good way. It was good. I could tell the difference between Yukke and Miya because Yukke = blonde hair. That helped a lot. XD Tatsu's English was pretty good, Hizumi's was better though I think...

Fuzz. OMG. OMG. FUZZ. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT. TATSUROU, WITH NO SHOES ON, GETTING ALL UP ON THE AMPS AND PLAYING THE HARMONICA, THEN JUST THROWING IT BACK SOMEWHERE AND GETTING RIGHT INTO VOCALS!!! AND YUKKE! HE HAD A DIFFERENT KIND OF BASS, AN ACTUAL ORCHESTRAL ELECTRIC BASS! And IT WAS COOL. I screamed so loud during the "Woah woah" parts of the song, because hey, words I know. |D
Libra was great as well. It has those quite moments then the really intense moments and was amazing to see live. It was beautiful. I really did feel like I wanted to cry during some parts, because I was really seeing them!!! That, and the excitment of, OMG ToC!
After that was The Underneath but at 7:15 was Despas signing, and staying would've been cutting it close, so we left to go get in line. D: I need to listen to The Underneath though, I really want know what they sound like. >_<;; We walked around the Coliseum fully and finally got to the place they'd be. Close to the front of the line. I bought their American released Mirror album and had them sign it. :D ...it was dark though and they signed in black marker, meanwhile they had a silver one. >_>; Whatever. OMG DESPAS THOUGH!!! <333 They're adorable~~~~~~~~~~~~ I had no idea who was who so somebody is going to have to help me when I post pictures. I have no idea who's signature is whose either. ^^; Ah well. ♥ They shook our hands too, and said, "Thank you." I'm happy to say I looked each of them in the eye when we shook hands. ^_^

Then we ran to where MUCC would be signing, because they started at 7:30. Close to the front again, behind the same people in line. LET ME JUST SAY, I LOVE MUCC SO MUCH, MORE THAN DESPAS. MUCC. Oh my gosh, I love them! I couldn't tell Miya and Satochi apart, because I fail they look similar in real life and... I fail. Bah. Again, pictures + F-list help = y/y? :D I had them sign the poster you got and my Death Note. :DDD Loeki gave Yukke the picture + letter Sam had for him. He was kinda like, "...for me? Oh, okay. :D Thanks!" Christa had them all sign her poster and...her. In various places. One on each arm, and then on her stomach. XD Tatsurou was last and I saw some people ahead of us hugging him, so when I got to him I asked for a hug too. x333333333 I GOT A HUG FROM TATSUROU. YES! He tried to make conversation too, IT WAS SO CUTEEEE! Most of the others were just like, "Hi. :D *sign* Thank you." But he said, "Hi, how are you?" and actually talked and it was cute! His English isn't bad at all! ...I just wish I'd asked him why he wasn't wearing shoes. That thought didn't occur to me though, it was more like, 'OMG TATSUROU!!! ...hug. do so want hug.' Jrockers really are skinny. >_<;; For a guy he seemed realllllly skinny when I hugged him. And he has soft and purty hair. :DDD *continues fangirling*
We went to see if we could see Despas again but they were gone. As we stood there they passed us though and Christa asked one of them if we could take a picture, (using a hand motion so he'd know we wanted a picture) and he was like, "Um. *points to group walking away*" so that was a no go, but he was nice about it~.
SO! Instead of going back in we headed to the anime/Jrock booth with the cool Asian guy. Not my usually "OMG HOT ASIAN GUY" fangirling, he was aljfdlakdjfl rather good looking and cool too. It gives me more reason to fangirl him. That was the second time we were there, so we just talked to him, and Christa asked to take his picture so he posed with a panda. XD I was looking though the CDs and saw a Reterner en Soi CD and tried to show Christa but she wasn't looking, but he saw and said, "You like them?" I haven't heard much of them, but then we got into that concert in the city in 2 weeks. And he said they're REALLLLLLLLY good and how Kyo from Dir en Grey trained the vocalist and that we should go. So we're gonna go. XD He used to be a tour manager or manager of some sorts for bands. Then he gave us free Despas pins too, cause we were ranting about them and MUCC and liked Despas and...stuff. :D (edit: Meera and Sarah got a picture with the hot Asain guy too! XD ...why didn't we think of that? -_-;;;)
We ran into so many people we knew there. XD I don't know why I was surprised. But Mike didn't like the Japanese bands and said stuff about them and I was like, "But I like themmmmmmm! ;_;" XD
Got back inside, found some random seats and saw Atreyu and Avenged Sevenfold then. So we really only saw 4 bands out of like, 7? Oh well. I was happy with the Jrock!
Atreyu were rather good. I was pleased. Maybe I should listen to them? XD I don't have much to say about them because... I don't know them that well.
A7X. Not gonna lie, I wasn't excited for them but they blew me away! I really liked their set. It was good! Really good!! Everyone was obviously excited for them. Everyone was more excited for EVERYONE but the JRock. ^^; A7X was good though. I think I need a few of their songs now. I also realized when the best lighting to take pictures was too during their set. XD; They did an encore. Whoot. There was confetti!
It was amusing to watch the floor, because people would jump the barrier and run before Security got them, then there was the insane crowd surfing. I'm glad I wasn't down there. When it was time to break out the cell phones to sway, half the people actually had lighters too. ...Loeki said she smelled pot too, which I wouldn't have doubted. Me, I was high on Jrock. 8D
I had a good time. :) I got to see and meet both MUCC + D'espairsRay. I'm not complaining~.
edit: I'm attemping to read MUCC's blog and see if they say anything about NY/Nassau Coliseum. Using Babel Fish I think they mentioned the stadion a few times, because "ice hockey arena" keeps coming up and Nassau Coliseum is used for the Islanders to play, so~. I can't wait until muccbrog translates... but it could be a while. ;_; If anyone on my F-list though could help me and just give me a general idea of what's being said in a few entries, I'd love you forever. ♥
