stuff i like!
* Amazingly about a month before Amazon told me it would arrive, I got my Essential Supernatural. It's a big arse GORGEOUS coffee table book, by Nicholas Knight who does the Season Companions. GUISE ITS AMAZING! Packed full of great behind the scenes interviews and OMG amazing pics - you will FLIP OUT over the motel room stuff!
Not only that - it comes with all these inserted goodies - heaps of postcards inc some motel ones, examples of SPN beer labels, Stickers inc Plucky Pennywhistle, posters of the covers of the SPN books (the Carver Edlund ones) - its a veritable treasure trove.
If you only ever buy one SPN book - this would be a brilliant one to get.
* More than a brother - a gorgeous picspam of Sam's crazy love for Dean by ash48. it made me have many thinky thoughts too about Sam not looking for Dean...
* I've got a baaaaaad feeling about this... - a look at the what the show is saying in the visuals of Sam and Amelia's scenes b y msdori. lots to think about here. interestingly i wonder if the same cues are saying something quite different.
* Midnight by sowell. Wonderful albeit dark Dean/John fic, of which there are so few these days. I love stories where the author is clear this is NOT A GOOD THING, but uses it to explore the really fucked up love between these two.
