CAN ANYBODY REC ME?
So a long time ago (about 2008) in a fandom far far away (SGA), a fan called linabean created a wonderful thing. She gazed upon the wonder of sgastoryfinders and found poetry.
Now our own version - spnstoryfinders is one of the seldom celebrated icons of Supernatural fandom. In operation since January 2006, its a community that proves that no algorithm has yet been written that can create a search engine as powerful as the fangirl mind. I love perusing entries to find recs, or track down specific fics. Plus the requests give a great look at what we write - and what we like to read.
So what linabean did, and I've done here, is take sentences and phrases from posts, and put them together to make some sort of poem thingy. Anyways, i started doing this some time ago, and only just rediscovered this on my google docs account.
So in tribute to spnstoryfinders I give you some found poetry...
I AM LOOKING FOR A FIC..
I don't even know how to tag this
since it's such an odd request.
For the record though,
I apologize
for the vague and odd response.
I am looking for a fic
that I cannot get out of my head.
Sam and Dean are younger,
and I'm pretty sure it's gen.
Dean, for some reason, is celibate -
yet still fundamentally Dean.
Sam sleeps in a giant car bed
and well, things go a little down hill from there.
Sam got knocked up by a demon and I think he was having twins,
Dean finds Castiel after he collided with a satellite
and subsequently broke his wing.
Does this ring any bells?
Cas has no private parts -
whumped!Dean
took Cas to a pastry shop,
he met a Banshee along the way
and kept a hellhound as a pet.
Dean is a waiter by day and a hooker at night.
Anorexic,
from when The Demon tortured him
starts using drugs,
self-harms/is suicidal,
has the mental age of a child.
Sam is broken -
crazy, like as in full out mentally insane,
and decides to kill himself through hypothermia
but ends up sitting there and crying.
I think Dean was wearing Aladdin pants
living in a pond at Bobby's,
getting high on sunlight
Or was taken by wood faries
John Winchester, in hell, knitting a sweater for Sam
mpreg, animalfic, waking up gay, highly improbable plot twists, CAPSLOCK, bodyswitching, suspension of disbelief, spontaneous human choreography, transmogrification, wingfic, yakfic, and Sam being a unicorn.
I wander randomly throughout the tags of this community --
I feel crazy,
like I made up this story.
I'm not crazy, right?

KINK OF THE WEEK
Can all you lovelies recommend me some
schmoopy, happy, comforting fanfics?

years went by and the truth came out,
Jensen is the beautiful, exotic dancer
he had his hair dyed green or something.
Jensen like doesn't have to eat or pee because he's magical like that
he was chained in a basement for a really long time.
suffering from an eating disorder
and there was an accident.
Jared worked as an architect
and was kind of a jerk
with control over dragons
Jared is a virgin and
Jared's arm is broken but he wants to have sex with Jensen
I'm pretty sure there are nipple clamps
and Jared at one point grabs Jensens testicles
and squeezes really hard,
Dazed and startled,
he bit Jared's dick
and they both had to go to the hospital.
At some point Jensen is in a lot of pain
and is so uncomfortable
he can’t function
so Jared talks him though milking over the phone.
I would prefer bottom!Jared, warn me if not.
Jensen finds out he has a tumor and is going to die
and Jensen died.

AN ODE TO HURT/COMOFRT
I want the REALLY bad stuff,
like the stuff that made you cry so hard
you couldn't see the computer screen through your tears,
or that made your stomach and/or heart hurt,
or that was so awful you had to stop reading
and look at fuzzy kittens before you could keep reading.
Give me a gunshot wound that needs to be tended,
some stitching complete with
grunting and groaning,
and I'm a happy fangirl.
Low self-esteem!Dean, Amputee!Dean, Whumped!Dean
Limp!Sam Hurt!Sam! Sick!Sam
where the hurt really makes you go ouch.
Anything where Dean is very hurt,
Raped, Tortured, Kidnapped,
is suffering from amnesia, in a coma, has a mental illness,
disfigurement, tropical diseases, weird and rare illness, severe allergies,
illness makes him very weak for ever
Sam or such helps him through it
hugs, cuddling, heart-to-hearts
including lot's of hand holding and reassuring and hair stroking
all the touchy touchy lovey lovey thing -
copious amounts of incestuous sexing.
