I liked this a lot, it seems like something that would have happened internally to Dean. :D

Hi... um... so... I've been working myself backwards through your journal for a couple of days now and...
I haven't said anything. I know that's rude - to look into a persons private (if public) thoughts and not say a word - but I just didn't... I don't know why. I'm a lurker in the SPN fandom so far, just reading everything I can get my hands on, but I tend to not speak until I'm ready to do some writing of my own. (which is not the case now)

But I read this thing about Dean and Cassie, and it was wonderful. I loved it. And you only got one comment.
It's worth much more than one comment.

I just felt I needed to give praise where praise was due, even if no one else did.

This isn't the only thing of your I like of course.
Obviously I like it all or I wouldn't have been reading it all (over 200 entries so far!).

The Daddy!Kink RPS was wonderful and... *cough* hydrating... *cough*

The... um... can't remember the name of it now... The fic where Dean shows Sam how to wank off. You broke it!Wonderful wonderful. I laughed so hard I ( ... )

*waves* Hi welcome. Thanks for your lovely feedback. I am quite fond of this fic myself. Glad you're enjoying the stuff on offer (this is me with a really big smile), as you can see it's a bit of everything and anything. But especially the crack (I keep trying to be a Serious Writer but I think I'll leave that to the experts).

Hope you'll make yourself at home. It's all about the Supernatural love here.I'll try and keep you entertained.

I loved this story. Quiet and simple, but right to Dean's heart.

And more than anything Dean found that he wanted Cassie to like him. Not just the good-looking guy who’d spun her some line, but him - Dean Winchester. Dean Winchester whose mother had been burnt to death when he was four, who didn’t have anywhere to call home, who spent most of his time trying to please a man who couldn’t be pleased, and who had a fierce love for a brother who wouldn’t speak to him. Oh yeah - and who hunted things most people didn’t even believe existed.

Oh, Dean.

This fic deserved more than 2 comments. I think maybe it's the general dislike for Cassie. I kinda liked her. She loved Dean, so that's good enough for me.

Oh thank you, glad you enjoyed it. Certainly on screen I don't think Cassie and dean had the spark we hoped for, but the idea of her, the fact that Dean opened himself up to someone, fell in love, intrigues me.

This is just a wonderful exploration of Dean, what is life has been like, and some of the reasons from his point of view it has seemed so bleak.

If only Dean could meet some of us fangirls! we wish....

Poor Dean, I feel so bad for him when he just stops talking.

The last paragraph made me think of the Motorhead I've been sifting through on the Internet. Someone in spn fandom recommended a song called Joy of Labour that is just fantastic and is absolutely something Dean would love. A lot of their songs do seem to be about the dark side, and crass sex, and eking out what enjoyment from life you can.

Thank you! I do feel sad for Dean, as I see him as someone who does want to connect with people, have friends and loveers, but his life prevents it. We saw this with Cassie, but also how happy he was being part of the gang in prison and as a PA in Hollywood Babylon.

see, this is why I love this fandom - I hated on-screen cassie and their lack of chemistry, but wonderful fics like this make me appreciate her so much more. I loved the idea of Dean falling in love with someone. we all know it can never end well, but hey, true romantic love is always unfulfilled. and Dean's strength and weaknesses and how it all came together to destroy what they had - it's really heartbreaking. really, really loving this.
