Movie rec: Monsters
On a budget of less than a million dollars, with only the two leads being actors, this movie is a road-movie, come alien invasion flick. Think District 9, or Cloverfield without the screaming. Equal parts quiet character study, apocalyptic scific and political metaphor. Possibly the best alien monsters I have ever scene on screen.
