I'm going to both, and spending the week between exploring the city; I've never been to Chicago and can't wait to meet you there!

Someday I'd love to come-gotta save money right now though unfortunately.

You have to go to Millenium Parak...its amazing. In my top five of favorite places in the city. If you can, do the glass ledges at the Sears (Willis) Tower-its actually totally worth it. If you get to, just wander-up and down Michigan Avenue, any neighborhoods you can get to like Lincoln Square, Lincoln Park...definitely go to the Lincoln Park Zoo (its AMAZING!).

Hey! I'm one of the wincon runners and I wanted you to know that we'll be selling day tickets for Wincon this year, so if you're interested in just driving up and coming Saturday and saving yourself a little cash, you'll have that option. We won't be selling them in advance, just at the door each day.

I will be there for the creation con, but probably leave the day after it finishes... am thinking of staying a couple days before to see chicago too. Misha is on the sunday with jared btw, if that's useful to you.

Babe, Chi town is totally worth the extra days....even if you're more into bars than art and museums.
I went to the Chi spn con last year and met Jim Beaver in elevator, had a nice chat.... we were both exhausted and going to our rooms (separately ;) ) At the same time, best friend is in hotel bar buying drinks for Misha and drinking and chattin with Richard-Gabriel-Trixter! (the bitch)
