There was much talk after Jump The Shark about Sam being so like John. And yes the whole "revenged obsessed, driven by guilt that I couldn't save the person I loved and in the process disconnecting from everyone in my life" parallels are striking. ahh I love this post so much, its so spot on! I know Dean doesnt really understand what Sam is doing right now and that hurts him but everything Sam is doing is for Dean I dont have any doubt about that at all.

Thank you! I lvoe how the Show pays attention to itself - so that comment of Dean's about shooting with John, gets renacted two sesons later in this way with Sam nd Adam.
