The Upcoming Twilight Movie
As most of you probably know, and anyone who knows me personally already knows, I am absolutely in love with the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. As most of you most likely also know, there is to be a movie made of the first book, due to start filming in February 2008. Now, a couple weeks back, I found out that Kristen Stewert ( played in the Messengers and Zathura ) has been casted as Bella Swan, which I think is fine, and that it was a good choice. However, I've always felt strongly about Edward Cullen in the movie, being played by Gaspard Ulliel ( Hannibal in Hannibal Rising, for an English role of his ) and have convinced my friends the same: that there would be no better man to play the part. Today, sadly, I found out that Edward will not be played by Gaspard, but by Robert Pattenson ( Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire ) I thought that this was so sad! I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm sure he'll do well, and it's not like anyone, and I mean ANYONE could play the part of Edward perfectly, I just really REALLY wanted Gaspard to play him.. so much in fact, that I'm not afraid to admit that I cried a little when I found out he didn't get the part
Oh well, *sighs* nothing I can do about it.. unless I was thinking illegal, which I'm not THAT desperate for, so I guess I'll just have to deal. However.. I must say this..
