Stuff and stuff
The song i had in my head for the last week of working as a cleaner were from the Incubus song 'Clean', most notably: "Feel better if you vent, put your frustrations into four letter words and let them out one by one" (although apparently i've misheard that and it's actually "let them out onto mine") and "No, you can never offend, your dirty words come out clean". I love that song, the idea that sometimes cussing is appropiate and right. I especially love it when i feel as frustrated as i did in that job.
Last night i dreamt that it was Monday night and i went into work even though i'd quit because i was afraid that it wasn't going to be done at all. Stupid work ethic. Not a fun dream at all, actually, even though i can only recall bits of it now. Al was lying in what looked like a body bag with police and investigators herding people away from him, and police tape and stuff. He was ok, but still an unpleasant thing to see, even in a dream.

On the job hunt front, Office Angels were being all optimistic and said they would email me some tests but these still haven't arrived. I have to go in today anyway to show them my passport and confirm contact details for a few references (they needed me to cover the last 5 years...). I'm not really in the mood but i know i have to. I'll just confirm about these tests then - they're for using word, which should be fine, and data entry type stuff, which again should be fine. I don't touch type but only cos i think i can't rather than cos i actually can't :p

[EDIT]: Just spoken to the college about the LSA work. Going to do some shadowing next week regardless of the fact i may not be able to actually go ahead with working there. Good experience if nothing else, just more than a little gutted that i probably won't be able to go ahead with it as a job :(
