Today I cooked again.
Dinner for the 5 of us again.
Fried Hokkien Mee, Creamy Prawns and Sambal Sotong.
Frankly speaking, it wasn't as awesome as I'd hope it'd be.
The Hokkien Mee was far from my expectation.
Maybe, I really ought to do prawn shell stock and all, and not the 'short cut'.
This just somehow further prove that I can cook special dishes but not simple stuff like noodles.
My forte's like Shepard's Pie, Chicken Rice etc..
Anyway, the creamy prawns were way too creamy for me, too much evaporated milk.
But the fav boy sort of love it, so I guess that's a consolation for me even though I can't eat it.
The banana leaf sambal sotong was fast with my Happy Call Pan and somehow, the leaf made the food tastier! (:
I shall not be discouraged but try cooking more, improving my skills.
The fav boy was so cute and he went "in future we can cook this creamy crab style dish with crabs!"
Yeah, guess we're both really eager for our home to be ready.
Our first home.
The examination stress is drawing near, assignments to clear.
I really need to lean on Him, draw closer to Him.
