I can stare at him forever
I can stare at him for forever.
I have finally finished my midterms! Yay! It was aiite. I can't complain. Although there were some major freak outs, one including a teacher. It isn't really new, this time last year we witnessed the same thing but this time it was more intensified. Didn't really pay attention cause I was freaking inside trying to finish the midterm that day. I later found myself in an awkward situation that afternoon that actually worried me. But if I get docked, I am most definitely going to fight it.
Anyhow, enough of that. Four consecutive days of midterms and today was a non-instructional day, so why spend time blogging about school? Exactly. Lol. So anyhow, what did I end up doing today...? Oh right, I spent today catching up with people.
Stop numero uno- Ninang Ligaya, Auntie Yoli, and Auntie Glo. My mom was off this morning so we went to go visit them before Ninang left. I think this visit is usually once a year when Ninang gets back from Philippines. She used to spend six months in Philippines and six months here. What a life huh? But now she only visits for a month. I did have my issues with her when I was younger. Believe me some of the things I encountered with her, have somewhat, for a lack of better words traumatized me. But these days, I do have the utmost respect for her and the other aunties for being there for me and my mom growing up. We brought lunch to their place and caught up. One thing I learned from the gathering, time goes by so fast. Make every moment count.
Stop numero dos- Auntie's to visit baby Tristan. So my mom and I split cause she had work and I made plans to go visit baby Tristan. And I finally spent some time with him, awake. Lol Everytime I visited him he'd always be asleep. What good is it if he see his auntie char. Haha Omg..this Auntie business. One way to feel old... effin scary man. See ever since Manang was all "look baby, auntie charlene is here." I've been thinking how old I'm getting. *shivers* Time is going by so fast that I hadn't even had time to realize how much has gone on and how much more is going on. I haven't had the time to consume it. I haven't even blogged about the big events that happened. Maybe one day.
Anyway I can spend all day with this baby and feel like time had actually stopped. I can hold him for hours staring at everything from his tiny long fingers to his now rounded cheeks that contain two dimples having the potential for him to charm his way around. And of course I'd have to capture the moments with the camera. But nothing compares to actually being with him. His random smiles, his grip- I can go on and on. Truth is I'm amazed how happy I get when I'm with him. It must be crazy for manang and manong; new parents experiencing this. All I can say is that this baby has made us all smile and I am hopeful for the future; making us all whole.
Oh and before I left I got the chance to see Kuya Charlie and Ate Venus. Whom have had the cutest baby girl of all when that baby boom happened a couple years back. Haha She's still adorable and actually wanted to play with me. Haha Of course maybe it was perhaps the fact that her new baby sister was the centre of attention along side Tristan. She too is soo adorable. I recall saying, "omg, I am seeing babies in every direction." It was fun talking to kuya Charlie too. There are two I recall;;
Me: Richard's sooo sexy.
C: I can be sexy too.....
Me: *turns* Uhhh Hahahaha ok.
C: I caaan. but I don't... want to work out eh
Me:*laughs* Ohhh ok.
Me: I'm going to marry him you know.
C: Ohhs. Really?
Me: Yeeah Uhhh just give me five years.
C: *laughs* Ohh ok. Five years ha? *totally gets what I was saying* Ok
Me: Haha Yes in five years I'll work it out.
C: But you have to start now.
Me: Hahah maybe next year.
C: Haha I mean, start chatting with him na.
Me: OHH that Hahaha I'll start soon, don't worry! Hahaha

Well today was a good day. A day to relax and catch up with relatives. Aiite well I have to head out, birthday party tomorrow. Haha Peeaaace.
