(no subject)
I had such a long day and it is not going to end for a while. I'm at Cranbrook for an all nighters, making the big bucks (HA!).
My teacher that I am observing under totally blew up at me today. She thought that she had told me to prepare and teach a lesson today, which she hadn't. She blew me off last week when she HAD asked me to prepare a lesson. I spent my entire Thursday evening last week preparing a lesson for last Friday, I get there and she tells me that we won't have enough time for it. So this week she is completely flustered because she has to quickly plan for her classes (understandable). So I ask if there is anything that I can help with and she tells me to just sit down and stay out of the way (nice). And also states that "obviously we do not have good communication here. But, it makes it really hard when you are not here every day." Duh! I'm not suppossed to be there everyday! UGH!! I'm so frustrated with her. Then she also cancelled Wednesday's observation on Tuesday afternoon when I called her because she forgot that she had parent teacher conferences. The way she talks about some of her students to me is really disheartening. I don't care how frustrated you get with them, please don't tell me how much you hate a kid, that kid deserves just as much of a chance as anyone else. So that was my morning. Thankfully she snapped out of it by her second class period and then sent me to another teachers room.
Sad news is that Oakland lost. :( They did good though. Props to them for making it to the NCAA and making Oakland U history. It was fun watching it with a whole bunch of people in the OC.
I defidently did not get enough sleep to make it through tonight and tomorrow. Darn it!
