depressing

no title yet-

An empty space, a heart so pure

Lives a girl, who’s stressed with fear

A broken smile that fades each day

Each time you laugh, she looks away

The words you speak so crude and taunting

Make her fall, the words keep haunting

She sees her reflection in the mirror

Understanding why the others bicker and sneer

The blotchy colors and deformed limbs

Tired of no cure, making her life so dim

It wasn’t her choice she was born like this

A fatal disease found within a cist

No answers to her beloved prayers

Looking around seeing no one cares

All she wants is to be like the rest

She wakes up trying to feel her best

Getting courage and being so brave

Walks up to that boy before seeing her grave

She tells him she has loved him so long

He laughs at her, her dignity now gone

Shedding tears of shame and hurt

The other kids still not the slightest bit alert

Two weeks later found diseased in her bed

Her time had come, truth of her love was shed

The others they all stopped to see

What hell they put her through how hard it had to be

Feeling bad and pain so severe

All went out to help fight the cure

A simple letter found under Jamie’s bed

She knew you’d all change, they were simply mislead

So thankful was she, she changed there life’s

Now others held captive wouldn’t have to put up a fight.
