Summertime...

Aug 11, 2006 00:48

So summer is almost over, and when I say almost I mean there's like two and a half weeks before I go back to school. I don't want to go back. I told my dad that the other night and he was like so you want to drop out of college now? Of course I didn't mean it like that, I just want to get it done and over with. It's been a fairly good summer, a very laid back one at that. I guess I'm kinda thinking that when I get back to school it's not going to be very laid back.

I went to the OAR concert at SPAC earlier this week. It was an experience. Although OAR and Jack's Mannequin are not at the top of my favorite music (meaning I don't have a lot of their songs memorized), it was probably one of the best concerts I went to, maybe because of the energy and the idiots that were completely trashed and stoned that were falling all over the place. It was quite amusing.

I saw John Tucker Must Die tonight. I was a bit pissed off. The paper said the movie was supposed to start at 10:45, this was at the drive-in by the way, and when we got there at 10:40 it had already started. So needless to say the movie was done with by midnight. I was slightly disappointed. The movie was good, but the ending kinda sucked. Of course when going to the drive-in it's always about getting the most for your money. So since we originally thought 7 of us were going, Craz got the mini van to head there. That didn't turn out as planned. Craz and me ended up being the only two in the mini van. So I hid in the back back seat and we split the cost of a ticket. Oh well. Fun times.

This is kind of a pointless blog, but I felt the urge to blog. So this is it. But I am quite happy with my new layout whoop whoop. Thanks for the help Craz!

So before summer ends this is what I would like to happen:

1. see Kelly since I've barely seen her this summer

2. eat a couple more pints of Brownie Batter haha

3. go for another motorcycle ride

4. drop a couple pounds, but that contradicts #2

5. just enjoy the rest of my time here until the dreaded day of going back to Albany occurs

6. have Naomi throw me a great birthday bash...but that's technically when I'm back at school soooo

Oh and also, a little bit of a rant, and no this is not directed at anyone in particular, but people really need to learn common courtesy. I think that's probably my biggest pet peev. The end.
