"Here for posterity" or "Still have trouble"
Mr. James from one of my crochet groups sent me the links for this sometime before the inauguration. I've had it on my info page since then. It doesn't really go with the rest of my layout, but I just love seeing those little minus signs! Though I know that technically, an even number of negatives will cancel each other out, making it a positive. Then again, I think the situation is a positive, so that kinda works, actually.
Anyway, I wanted to keep the ticker, but I didn't want it up in my info page anymore, so I figured I'd keep it here for posterity. Or at least as long as the site that it's from keeps it up.
It's kind of funny, you know, but I still have trouble remembering that Obama is our president. It hasn't sunk in yet. But it's barely been two months since he took office, and I guess after 8 years (i.e., nearly all of my adult life) of one thing, it sorta gets ingrained in your head. I imagine my mind will adjust in due time.
