Good Morning
Thought I would come on and give a quick update on our busy lives!
Katie is doing well. I am reading thru these posts and everyone's kiddos seem so much farther along than Katie. I am not worried, just kind of suprised. She turned 8 months yesterday! She is still barely eating baby food. We still do stage 1 and she doesn't even finish one jar a day. She has about 25 ounces of formula a day also. She is not crawling yet- but she does well sitting up on her own. She can't get herself into a sitting position alone yet. She has shown no interest in standing/ pulling herself up. She has one tooth and another one is on it's way. I guess all in all she is just your average (or late) kid developmentally.
Our big news is that we have bought a new house. We have been wanting to downsize from our home into something more reasonable so that I can quit work in a few years. We have a 5 bedroom 3000 sq ft home with two vacant lots attached to the back that we also own. The house we have bought is very close to my MIL- yes that's a good thing we get along great. It is in the historic district of Sanford, FL. It was built in 1926. It's 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 2000 sq ft. The man selling it knows some of the people we go to church with and knows our pastor. It was meant to be- we have been looking for months and last Saturday at our Sunday School Christmas party one of our friends just happened to mention that this house was for sale. They had just put the sign in the lawn that Friday!
So, now we have to sell our house. Our realtor came over last night and he is coming back today to take pictures. Could this be the absolute worse time for selling a house! I was up late trying to get the rooms picked up enough to have him come take pictures today. I am so dreading the whole selling/ closing/ moving process. But, I am really excited about our new home.
