Finding his love does guarantee happiness. Because the world will always be hard but God is there with you comforting you and loving you and Jesus Christ is preparing a place in the kingdom for you and that fills you with eternal joy and happiness. He who does not love Me does not keep My words and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent me. John 14:23-24 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire and it shall be done for you. John 15:7 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give you. Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid. John 14:27. Marie, come to God as you are because he loves you and he has provided salvation for you through his Son. And through that you will find yourself. We are all sinners and we deserve death for the sins that we have commited. But God loved us so much and he wanted us in his kingdom so much that he allowed his Son to die for those sins so we could be saved and see his kingdom. God is your father Marie, He sees you and waits for you and he guides you to him and he loves you. Don't be afraid to come to him. Don't be scared Marie because God is a rock you can stand on. Read John. It's an amazing chapter. God is our father, Jesus is our Lord and Saviour. His death and your belief in it is what makes you apart of God's kingdom and the only thing that can bring you salvation from this world. Your kingdom is in heaven, you are an alien to this world. Only God loves you and only Jesus promises you eternal life. Then the Jesus spoke to them again saying 'I am the Light of the world, He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.' John 8:12 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed in Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." John 8:31-32
I don't really know what I meant on finding Him won't give me happiness - I know it can, and it has. Now that I think about it, I think that growing away from Him is what made me so unhappy. I guess I just meant that the things in this world, and the emotions life brings become trials I have to overcome, and there comes a point where I have to face those trials, and I can't run away from them forever.
