creme de creme
i am the creme brulee queen. by far the best part of working in the bakery is being allowed to torch the creme brulee. the most fun is when sparks fly and the flame-retardant plastic sets on fire a little bit.
i'm doing my current photography portfolio on surrealism. i have a lot of great ideas but it is intimidating for me to make them happen. but like every major project i've done, it will probably all come together at the end, after lots of all-nighters, stress, and frantic procrastination.
whole foods has been playing classical music every day now because apparently someone wrote casey, our store leader, a 3pg letter about the music. classical puts me to sleep and makes me feel like i am in a commercial when i'm helping customers. bleh
ash and i are checking out apartments for may, and that makes me excited for summer. it is beginning to feel like spring; biking in short sleeves and waking up to birds chirping. mmmmm
this next week i am deciding whether to go back to school in the fall. doing community stuff, photography, working, and going to school all at once exhausts me just to think about. but, one day at a time and who knows what will happen until then.
visiting john in chicago was good, but a crazy car ride home with his housemates bc train tickets were sold out and exhausting figuring out trains by myself. it makes me appreciate pittsburgh's size and character.
