slightly jealous that you're going to chicago and i'm stuck here where its cold and i hang out with 8th graders who think i'm old and lame for not liking harry potter. SO it could be worse. you could be me. I miss you!
first of all, you are neither old nor lame. and anyone who thinks you're lame for not liking harry potter needs a reality check.
secondly, chicago was nice...a good escape from the norm...but an entire day alone, traipsing around a blustery, frigid, crazy-busy, overly-confrontational city does not a fun time make. i bought a lot of christmas presents (which at least negated the possibility of me coming home feeling like i'd completely wasted my day...) but i now have a blister that literally covers my entire heel. and, of course, being the medical professional that i am, i thought cutting it off with a cutical scissors would be a good solution.
needless to say, i walk with a gimpy tip-toe limp right now.
moral of the story: the end of the semester can't come soon enough. come home?
So i'm pretty sure that i hate the end of the semester and i also stress myself way too much/end up hating myself for putting things off until the last minute. All i can say is when i come home we need to have lunch or someting (maybe watch the now and then...lol) because even though i've seen you in the recent past i don't feel like i've really "seen" you. and i miss you a lot. so yes the semester cannot end fast enough.
ps you're totaly turning 21 soon!!!! woot. we can all go out or something!

oddly enough, this has come up before...ie after "Harry Potter Night" when I came away from Barnes & Noble with plastic Harry Potter glasses and made him try them on.
Needless to say I immediately made him take that off because it was just too weird.
