slash art recommendation, slash fic settings
I was perusing the Grabbing His Cane H/W slash community for inspiration for the fic I'm currently writing, which has no title but is coming along nicely. It's about House and Wilson taking naps together in a fictional deserted wing of PPTH. It's a self-prompt from my September 2006 post. It was going to be sweet fluff, maybe even my first R-rated fic, but I've got such a filthy mind that it's turning out to be just as porny as anything else I've written. I'm having a bit of trouble with the title, would like to use "No _____" as that's become sorta my trademark, but nothing fits. Usually the title is the last thing I write so hopefully some inspiration will come at a later point.
I stumbled across a gorgeous piece of slashy fan art by tsuki called "The Couch." House and Wilson are portrayed making out like horny teenagers on House's couch. It's extremely suggestive; they are both wearing clothes, but you know that Wilson's tie is going to be ripped off any minute, and your hot little imagination can fill in the rest. It's absolutely delicious and I encourage you to have a look. Make sure to enlarge it, click twice, and you might have to "biggerize" it once you have it loaded in its own browser window.
You might also like tsuki's "Warm Enough," a sweet slashart portraying House and Wilson sleeping, obviously exhausted after a heavy bout of hot lovin'. Well, maybe they're just having a nap but in my dirty imagination, that's why they're so tired ;) Tsuki's art reminded me of how sexy I think House's couch is.
I have always imagined this couch as the most likely setting for their first time. But I haven't written about any sweet action on House's sofa yet, unless you count Wilson getting all hot and bothered on it in "No Pain." So I think I'm overdue to write about the couch, and that will be the setting for my next fic, in which House and Wilson smoke a joint and (rather predictably, I'm afraid) it acts as an aphrodisiac.
I also think House and Wilson's shared balcony would be a nice setting for a little after-hours office naughtiness. We've already seen House hop over the railing quick as a bunny when the front door to Wilson's office was locked (actually, I think that might have been the episode where he snitched the joint of medical marijuana, or maybe it was the one where barged in on the conversation with Grace.) Wilson's office might be another good setting for House and Wilson to get down with each other. It is nice and private. The only thing is, I can't get a grasp of Wilson's office furniture. Obviously he has a desk, a chair for himself, and for a guest. Does he have an armchair? A sofa? Or would House just have to sweep aside all of Wilson's little trinkets and take him over the desk? Hmmm....
I also think Wilson or House's car would be a hot setting for some random naughtiness between the boys. There was a little car!Kink in my first fic, "No Regrets" but that was mostly outside the car, not inside. I'd like to writ about a long make-out session in the front seat of one of their cars, maybe in the PPTH parking lot.
As you may have picked up, I usually think of the setting first, then the plot, if I can even use that term to describe my fics, which are by and large, fairly plot-less, and then the hot sex just falls into place. Now, if only I knew something about where Wilson has been shacked up lately. Has he been living in a hotel all this time or did he finally get an apartment? Of course I suspect him of crashing at House's more often than not. And I'll bet he spends a lot of time on that sofa. Which is why I feel the pressing need to write some hot couch smut ASAP.
