OMFG! This rocks! And it is sooooo going into my masters thesis work on skills learned in gaming (and WoW, specifically) that transfer to real life!!! (and yes, I'm completely serious; I get to play for real-world masters degree credit; how's *that* for a plum assignment... or should I say quest?)

That is frigging awesome. I want to get a degree in gaming, lol!

I did something similar - I had a Women in Business class, and for our final project we had to put together a presentation about various topics that the teacher came up with. One of them was "Women in the Gaming Industry", so I snagged that one up right away and used that as an excuse to make my first WoW video, lol.

One of the people I had been working with awhile back is getting her freakin' PhD in gaming out of Pepperdine! I've had several of the academics I'm working with not-so-gently hinting that I should do the same ... to which I reply "Let me finish the damn master's first!"

BTW, I swiped your story (and credited) in my own LJ. It was just too good not to pass around. :)

I *love* the "silly little fanfic ... which I need to say THERE too. I really like waht you write! (And Staine promises me she's going to post something again someday RSN ... I've read what she's written (70K since that first story, all of it barrels of fun) but she has cold feet about posting.

But yes... I swiped the NEWSstory. It went to my guildies and a few non-players too!

I have posted on WoWfics ... one of the cleaner ones LOL. But still fun.
