POTTAH

Ugh.  Harry Potter book midnight releases are always so gross.  Reminds me of walking into a comic book shop during a Magic: The Gathering Tournament.  Or the basement at Dragon*Con where the gamers congregate.  It's the same kind of...stench.

We arrived at Borders around 8:45 or so, got our wrist bands, then quickly wandered around Old Navy and The World Market before they closed at 9.  Then we gathered up a crapload of magazines and the Good Sex Bible and headed for the quietest corner of the bookstore...the Literature section.  We pretty much had it all to ourselves, lol.  No one's ever interested in Literature.  In that corner it was almost as if the entire store wasn't crawling with girls and boys alike wanting to get into Harry Potter's pants.

We finally got out of there around 1 a.m., so the wait wasn't too bad once we got in the line.  A little less than an hour.  They had little glowy stick necklaces too; I wanted to get one, but I overheard the guy telling someone else that "they're kind of for the kids."  LOL.  F*ckin' kids.  I WANTED A GLOW STICK.

But I have my book instead ^_^  Craig said 'screw it' to trying to get his own copy.  Since he didn't reserve it he would have had to go to the back of the line, and there was no way in hell that was gonna happen.  It's not like we can't just go to Target or something tomorrow and pick one up.

harry potter and the deathly hallows, harry potter
