It's my parents 21st anniversary today, including courtship they must've been together for a quarter of a century now..
2009.. the inevitable. Rather than make a bunch of resolutions that come across as forced, dreaded guidelines for the new year - mine often turned out overly ambitious, forgettable and hard to live by, so I've decided to do without them this year. However these are the things I'm looking forward to this year: freedom, travel, loving, Hawaii, being a better person, learning constantly, complaining less and living more, being a more empathetic person to strangers and trivial, negative situations and finally finding a direction which I hope to already be following before the year ends.
