For sometime now, I have had the image of this bag in my head and have been on the look out/ prowl for it or something similar. To no avail. So a week back I decided I was going to attempt to make it. Seeming as I'm not so much of a crafts person, I was very skeptical of whether I'd even get started.. Well I started alright, it took me 2 days of a few hours, and I am quite pleased with how it turned out :) Not the strong material nor consistent, neat seams as I had imagined though..
I don't have my digital cam with me because my parents took it to Bintan so the pictures are horrible but I'll probably take more when I get it back. I was too excited today, we'll just have to make do
So that's why I'm really happy today! It's like a Christmas Present to myself since I'm making majority of the presents this year. (Just, all those receiving presents - you know who you are - don't expect anything so complex. My back really hurts from sitting on the floor and I can only do art and things like this on the floor).
Anyway I think we've changed our destinations almost 10 times now due to both a tight budget and fussiness. From Europe to Alaska, Wyoming & Colorado to Phuket and even Australia... But I'm quite certain we'll be exploring Hawaii (The Big Island, Kauaii & Oahu) and New Zealand in 3-4months time! I'm really excited. Beautiful blue beaches and majesty snow mountains, I could not ask for more.
Things to do for the next week and there on after:
- Research on Unis; get application sorted
- Plan New Zealand
- Make Christmas Presents
- Rearrange Closet & Room
Does anyone know of any fulltime jobs/lifestyles that pay a reasonable amount of money (not $500/mth, something that you can eventually own your own house with & live decently) and gives you a lot of free time?
