I know I'm a slacker, but I have a favor to ask:
Go to pain.about.com and make a comment somewhere. On my blog. On my forum. Maybe sign up for my newsletter. Or just view some stuff. Yes, I know reading about chronic pain may not be the most exciting way to spend a Wednesday evening, but I could use some comments. It's a ghost town right now!

In other news, I got an email from a company I used to do tons of freelance for - the same company that stopped paying $30 for 400 words and dropped it to (wait for it) five dollars.
FIVE DOLLARS.
Today they want me to write some "revenue stream" articles that they are willing to not only pay me five whole dollars for, but are also willing to pay per page view. A lucky writer last month earned a whole dollar per article using this method.
So, let me get this right.....I spend 30 minutes figuring out the best keywords for search engine optimization so that I can get the maximum number of page views, and then another hour or two writing the actual article, and if I'm lucky and patient enough for 12 months, I might earn as much as $12?
And they wonder why I haven't written for them since 2008.
