COLLEGE
first time in a long time ive been able to update. the computers are still "wicked slow" (as they would say here) and really on and off, so hopefully they will be running smoothly again soon.
anway :) College is like really really awesome. I honestly cant say one bad thing.
From the beginning, moving in was really slow and annoying, but it was So much fun to set up my room and everything. I love my room, it is SOOO big and has carpet, and we're on the first floor and my bed is SOOO comfy :) its great. My roomates are sarah and becky and they are really nice. They're a little more partyish than i am, but we are really getting along great. Ive also been hanging out with a lot of kids from orientation which is good. The only thing is, im meeting sooo many people its hard to remeber and then to think like who is really genuine and stuff. but everyone here seems really nice and really down to earth. so much differnt from high school, i dont know if its syosset or whatever, but everyone here is soo differnt. It makes me feel much more comfortable that you can just talk to whoever you want.
the first day was just ok. we went to newport which was allright and then me and my two friends went to the mall. it was just ok, and i was really excited for classes to start.
classes started yesterday and they are just awesome. sooo much differnt and better than high school. i also have so much more of an innitiave to do well because no one is pushing me. i have civ, math, education, and psychology. i really like all of them...hopefully ill do well :) already on the first day i had So much work, tomorrow i have even more so i need to finish that asap!
saturday im planning to go down to thayer street, hopefully that will work and then chris may be coming up early to visit me cause he has off from school...fingers crossed.
im missing my family and friends and chris a lot, but the best thing of college by far is being on my own. i just love doing whatever i want and just walking around and all that stuff. its kind of an overwhelming feeling to be like, wow i went through ALL of that, and now im here. Im not with anyone and im just here on my own. its so great.
the ONLY thing i miss about school is dance. i was getting homesick after talking to jaimee about connors classes and kicklien is starting up, and that just sucks. dance auditions are in the next few weeks and im sooo nervous! they only have four spots open. i really need to try hard. whatever happens, happens i guess.
