We were just watching 7th Heaven. He mentioned that he could identify with one of the characters who was in love with his best friend, and he knows it is impossibly hard. I asked who and he said Natalie. My heart just fell out of my chest. He still talks a lot to Natalie and gets emails and cards from her all the time. Half the time, I also think he likes Sarah Finley that way too, but just doesn't do anything about b/c of her boyfriend, Curt. Next year, he'll live with her, and if she and her b/f break up, he'll be able to comfort her. I was honestly thinking it was me that he could hardly stand to be friends with for being in love with, because for the longest time, I just wanted to be friends with him, while he wanted to date me. This just helps me think that he just wanted to date someone older and different. Now, I think he'd be afraid to make me mad b/c then I'd say he has to not stay with me this summer, and move somewhere where he'd have to pay rent, etc, whereas I'm a "free ride". I'm so hurt. I'm probably thinking about this wrong, but you'd think that he would say Natalie and you. I think he may still have feelings for her. I know he has seen her over Spring Break and they went out for coffee or dinner or something. She wanted to be close to him again, and this was as recently as April 18. I hate this.
