The first seat on NYC buses were reserved in honor of Rosa Parks' refusal to give up that seat. Well I was on a pretty empty bus (Beeline buses which are technically Westchester county) and this woman sat in the seat. A white woman too! I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she couldn't read the placard on the seat or she cannot read English. I just found it a bit funny and this young man kept staring at her until she finally moved.
