Well, with two exams. We taught our last lesson (which didn't go as well as I would have liked it to, but oh well, I'll survive) and then I had the history exam. I guessed the two readings right (Dostoevsky's Grand Inquistor and Pearson's Scientific View of a Nation) and so the questions were pretty easy. I had to b.s. some of them (like what they have to do with today) but I just babbled about religion and politics and a whole bunch of other stuff. I'm going to be heading back to Arbury soon (I'm currently in Science East). I have to go sell my books back at the bookstore and look for stuff for people for Christmas, and then I'm going to come back and practice my little heart out and then do my jury. Then back home to study for a bit, SACB concert, and then more music history studying.
Tomorrow I have the music history exam and the perc ensemble audition for the student recital. Wednesday is COMM and Ed Psych (both of which will be jokes) and then I'm going to the Grace Lutheran Choir party, and bringing fudge. It's getting rave reviews, although I'm not as happy with it as I usually would be. Then again, it just tastes better when it's made at home (although I surprisingly have a good fudge pot here!).
Thursday I have to stop at the credit union here, take care of some stuff, and then hit the road. I'm planning on being out of Saginaw by 10 at the latest, meaning I'll get into Houghton between 6 and 7. I'm calling Hardee's later today/tomorrow to find out when I work. Hopefully I'll get good hours. Hopefully. Angie's supposed to be having her baby soon, so that should be fun.
I'm also hoping to get to see a lot of people over break. I don't know when Trish'll be around, but Ashley's back in town, which is definitely different. At least I'll get to play with the babies!
I also need to make a hair appointment and possibly a doctor's appointment. Not completely sure on that second one. It's weird that I can't just talk to Dr. Helman at church anymore. Oh well. I'm sure I'll go over and see the kids sometime, and I can talk to her then and see if I can just get her to refill the prescription or if I actually have to go in for an appointment. The problem is that I won't need the new prescription until the end of March or something, and I don't know if I can just get her to call it in when it runs out or what. But that's beside the point.
Okay. I think I've rambled enough about enough random stuff. I'm going to go get lunch (perhaps a BLT, I have yet to decide) and then sell books back and then practice. Perhaps a nap is also in order. I really don't know.
Lata!
