Wrote this to someone who needed it. Wanted to pass it on in case someone else needed a smile.

Hello,

Don't worry about calling my cell. Personally, I prefer it since it has caller ID and my home phone doesn't.

I haven't been too terribly social as of late. Been pretty pissy actually. Have been having my moments of crying and often. It's a good thing but a pain in the butt. Still, have to go through it to get on with life. If there is anyother way, let me know?

Girl, babe, darling, you have the right idea about being independant and unattached. Marriage is like sex. People idealize it and think of only the good things. No one ever imagines bad sex - no orgasm, smelly something, a wayward fart at an inopportune moment, a not-so-toned derrier, simply missing that spot time and time again until you can barely control your frustration.

Don't discount the joy of decorating as you want. Coming home to silence. Watching what you want when you want. Not ever having to wait for or air out the bathroom. Making dinner only if you feel like it. Hogging all of the bed and blankets. Sleeping without the sound of snoring. Doing much less laundry than married people do. Vacationing where and when you like. Having the freedome to dump the loser if he just doesn't get it and/or has failed to improve in bed - in fact it gets worse.

And that's just the general stuff. Each individual has his own special surprises just waiting for that post-honeymoon moment when they can all hop out of the shadows and finally live in the light! Just think of your own hidden strangeness. Yeah, like that but possibly worse.

Okay, so, I just wanted to write an e-mail that wasn't sad and about my divorce and sick dad. Whew! I feel better already!
Love,
Christina
