The first hour of A Very Long Engagement. (Which inspired me to start eating toast and honey for breakfast. It's Manech's last meal at one point and it always makes me want toast and honey. I AM A CLASSY LADY.)

MUCH COUGHING.
Questions!
1. IF I have lost my voice (as indeed I have), HOW COME I still make such a terrible noise when I cough? I sound like a sea lion!
(Obviously I do not have a good handle on the inner workings of the throat.)
2. But how am I going to ring for a doctor's appointment in the morning IF I CAN MAKE NO NOISE? I doubt they'll be able to decipher morse code coughing.
3. How am I going to get the manager at work to not kill me? She seems to think that ILLNESS IS WEAKNESS and I have not got better ON PURPOSE.
3a. I have not left the house in a week. I can't remember the last time before now that I even stayed a whole DAY in the house. I AM GOING OUT OF MY MIND!

How happy am I that the sun doesn't set until (just) after 5pm now? VERY.
How did I get to be February so soon? I swear it was October just yesterday.
How come I love Torchwood this series whereas last time I found it unbearable? What's changed? (It's not me! I am too stubborn.) (By the way, Ianto Jones is a genius who has all the best lines.)
Being at home all week means I buy lots of music. Lately I love: Emmy the Great, Lightspeed Champion and Los Campesinos! NOW you can all sleep happily knowing that.
