It has been so long since I've updated. Sorry everyone school has been eating me alive these days. I'll try to work on updating much more frequently. I am still on the long road to becoming an elementary school teacher for those of you that are curious about what I've doing with my time. I finally have started taking some classes that are more relevant to my major as opposed the core classes that bore you to tears. This semester I took a U.S. history course and teacher health course. I have to say that I enjoyed both courses and think I did pretty well in them. The health course was very challenging and somewhat like a gym class. Normally I hate gym because I'm so clumsy but my classmates seemed to be just as clumsy as me so it wasn't so bad. They even had us instruct some daycare aged children and we all managed to survive their sugar induced hyperactivity. They were so adorable and hilarious.

This last month I also took adult education cooking class once a week to learn how to make some more interesting dinners for us. I think everyone should take one cooking basic class in their life especially if they get sick of eating ramen all the time or wouldn't mind saving some money. We worked in small groups to create different dishes each week and took home some simple recipes. We made French food one week and some Southwestern food the next week. All of the dishes we made were three or four coursed meals. We also got to make a really tasty seafood dinner this week. MMMM crab cakes! I tested my portion of the meal out on Nick first just in case. That's what guys are for right? hehe

I'm sure some of you have heard about the little seed vegetable garden Nick and me have been on our patio. Everything has been growing really well. We have tomato plants, chives, basil, beets and radishes which need to be harvested soon. Does anyone have any ideas what one might make with radishes other than a salad? Man I'm hungry now with all this talk of food. Hey you guys tell me about your favorite foods!
