Happy dance!!
Had the interview...job offer was made...job offer was accepted!! (Full time nursing instructor position at local uni, FYI)
And now, I have to find a way to tell the current boss I'm leaving.
I wish I hated my current job more. This would be much easier if I really just wanted to leave them in the lurch and tell them to F&*% off and die. And there are a few people I would like to say that to, just not the current boss. She is very nice, and is going to be out on medical leave for the next 1 1/2 months, so she is screwed.
Lest it sound as if I''m not thrilled, I am completely thrilled. I REALLY wanted this job. Very much. Pay rise. Closer to home. Flexible hours. More control. I get to exercise my inner Snape and threaten detentions and disemboweling of creatures if I am crossed.
Mwahahahahaha.
At least now everyone else knows why they've had a crap week. I've temporarily sucked all the good luck from the atmosphere. I'm releasing it back into the air. Grab it while you can.
