Amazing time in Vancouver....and for Canada finally ended last night

Paralympic Closing Ceremony was last night!

I never got to go to the Mint(medal displays), despite trying on Sat and Sun mornings. Line up was over 5 hours long. But I got to do the free zip line over Robson Square, checked out so many free concerts, many free awesome venues and many celebrations on the street.

It was a great time. And record set for both Paralympic and Olympic events. Gold gold gold gold galore! The most set by any host city! A record set for 17 days straight of partying in the city. LiveCity fireworks will be missed, Saskatchewan house, Ontario house, Alberta house, Heiniken house...and many more awesome venues. The Paralympics at Whistler for the opening weekend was great, the energy there never changed, it was the same as it was during the Olypmics, but with more people.

It's time to rest up my wallet and my liver!!! Bought the Macleans Commemorative edition and the Sports illustrated one too. Great reads. I read through all the events and I just picture where I was at time it happened. Most of the time, drunk or hungover. Gold medal hockey was the icing on the cake.
