thank you! how is your move coming?
yeah, those fuckers are going to pay...technically, they owe manny a lot more than 300.00 apiece, they owe him for about three months of back rent, too which he is graciously letting go since it will be too hard to prove after a few years that they didn't pay him anything. however, they definitely owe for the damages incurred. manny has been trying to call them both for days with no answer, one of the guys called back yesterday and said he wanted to see some paperwork before he paid, so he will have that by the end of the week. the other kid's girlfriend called manny and basically tried to bully him by saying that they were getting married and they didn't have the money but they could maybe pay it in installments. thankfully manny had some balls and told them hell no because they couldn't be trusted to pay before, so why should he be nice now? basically, if they get the paperwork by the end of the week and don't make a good faith effort to give him some money, manny is suing. but enough of that, sorry to babble!

I'm sorry to hear about the mess. I hate losers.

As far as my move goes, I am working on my transfer now which is promising. I am hoping to start work in Massachusetts around July 1. Luckily my brother lives in that area and I can stay with him until I find a halfway decent apartment. Unfortunately, the cheap ones are not advertised. Rent in the Bostin area is too much. Oh well. Such is life. I am tired of Portland.

oh wow, good luck on all fronts. i hope your apartmnt hunting goes well, but i am sure you will do just fine. change is so good for you, i am glad to hear you're making such positive ones! boston wil be wonderful for you, i'm sure of it.

I hope Boston works out. I will live there for at least one year. If I do not end up liking it, I do know where the exit doors are. It's just the move comes at a bad time (with the wedding and all) but that was due to my roommates pregnancy. Again, such is life. Sometime, you, Heather, and Jessica will have to come up.
