Backfired Plans
Jeremiah went to Pulaski today for a Math Tournament (?..thingy...test?). I got to see him before he left and gave him the little note I had written. There was one catch, though. He was not allowed to read what I wrote until he was on the bus. I dunno if he did that or not, but yeah. So, all day I had this plan:
After 3rd Block, I would go get Jeremiah some food, wash my car, and then wait for him. I thought he would be back around 2 or 2:15ish because that's what I had heard. So, I leave, go get some McDonalds and go right across from the HS to wash my car. I get it washed and I vacuum it out. Midway through, something told me that I should stop and just head back to the school. I ignored it. I wish I hadn't. A couple minutes later, the vacuum stop and I looked to the highschool and guess who I see pulling out of the parking lot? Jeremiah. Immediately, tears come up in my eyes because I wasn't there. I was going to surprise him with food and me. Lol. But I was too late. Mind you, this was 1:45ish. Which is earlier than I thought! Ugh! I was so upset that I hadn't been there. I wanted to see him smile when he saw me. But, no I got my times messed up.
So, my plans backfire. I guess it's a little funny when you think about it. But it still makes me sad I mean, in my passenger seat were his two McDoubles and in the cupholder was his Large Sweet Tea.
Maybe next time, I guess. There was no way he could know what I was planning. Heck, it was suppose to be a surprise! Lol.
