4-H rules!!!!!!

the fair was awesome today...we got up and went out to the fairgrounds early and got the sheep sheared and clipped and all ready to go for the show. it went well and they took 1 sheep per class to the sale, then the grand and reserve grands. so 2 of the sheep are going--which is really really good. then me and stevan went over to check on the pigs and make sure their water was okay and to spray them off. he's gonna clip them tonight, i'm still not sure if i'm gonna go or not. and thennnnnn oh so quentin has this awesome truck, like i want to have this truck..not like i'm one of those scary girls that drives trucks, i just love them. i always have loved big ol trucks and i feel like i need one (pretty sure that won't fly with my dad, but my mom knows that big trucks are part of my heart). so anyway, he has this huge dodge ram--not the new body ones, its a few years old, white, has a big toolbox in the bed, has a little step to get up into the cab, big huge tires, LOUD exhaust, and of course like you know, like ropes and clippers and important stuff in it. So this truck just freaking rules. and hahhaha we went out to lunch and stevan didnt want to ride in the back so he was like "dude do you just wanna ride in the middle?" so i did... and we had the windows down and country blaring and we were all kinda dirty like we'd been working with the animals and it was just so much fun. it made me realize how much i miss that kind of stuff. and how much i love working with the animals and being around 4-H type things (shows and auctions) and riding in big loud trucks and working like that. so we went to the best restaurant ever-- blake's lot-a-burger ---and it was good. then we came home to get a tarp to hang up back at the fair to cover the side of stalls so the pigs won't get sunburned, so we got that, some rope and nails and hammer and some more feed and buckets...

i love living on our little farm. and i love wearing boots. and getting dirty. and being a badass that knows how to do things. like animal things. its kinda cowboy/ country...but thats how it is and who i am and its the best.

the market swine show is tomorrow from 9:00am-12:30 but we'll get there like at 7 to get ready...and the 3 pigs look good compared to the other ones. hopefully all will go to sale!!!

and ps, one thing i don't like is hanging fly bags. if you've ever done it you know.
