(no subject)
I've been holding off updating until I either (a) had picture/s or (b) it struck Wednesday, and whilst I don't have the former, it is indeed the latter. Why I've waited?
To announce my career change. I'm almost positive that what I want to do is get out of business and back into communications, with the long term goal being to become a tutor at university eventually.
Today I had an appointment with the university's Careers Service, and whilst they couldn't give me any instructions on how to go about this (transfer-wise, that is, as a kind and wonderful communications tutor has informed as to how to go about the long term goal), they did point me in the right direction. See, there are complications with my transfer back, as the communications degree that I started has been replaced with a new one and as I withdrew completely, apparently I have to begin the new degree... Stupid bureaucracy!! Cross your fingers for me as I attempt to pump information out of contacts and move to try to secure my transfer. Three years being a first year would suck majorly...
So yes, to complete the picture of the goals I was dreaming of, add university tutor by day to the learning-to-bake/cook-blog by night, add the boy by my side and there you have it!
Speaking of baking... I wish my over-chilled cookie dough would hurry up and defrost! Fingers crossed I can conquer this little recipe.
Been relatively good lately so will allow myself to acquire:
- 3/4 Striped Scoop Neck Top (long time lem!)
- Underwear (bought two today, but one more would be nice)
- Still yet to be purchased Necklace
- Leatherette High Waisted Skirt (long time lem!)
- Supre Oversized Grey Jumper (? for those lazy, lounging days?)
- shoes!
